Believe Them The First Time

Maya Angelou always says to believe people the first time they show you who they are.

That applies to Tom Delay who believes he is above the law and his crony pals including our own Denny Rehberg who voted to shield him from his criminal acts. Believe them.

It applies to Alberto Gonzales who believes that he and the President are above the laws of God and man.

They showed us who they are. Changing the laws to placate them will not change their lack of ethics or their sadistic tendencies either.

Auto Insurance Prisoners

A few years ago the legislature thought that it would be a good thing for insurance companies to be able to use credit scoring to set their rates. Did you know that Montana is dragging the bottom of the wage scale, there are plenty of people who work full time for under ten grand a year?

My insurance went up fourty per cent last year without warning or explanation. I tried to find out why, but the Indians who answer the phones can't tell me and I can't even tell you if they even understand what I want to know.

I'm a very low income person who can no longer access the free market to find a better deal because of some late utility and medical bills. What are the chances the Republicans would throw a hissy fit if we tried to revert the system to an even playing field?

Scalia Ethics

Quacky Tony went on a cozy vacation with his friend who had a case pending in his court. He gave some murky reason about why he said that it was fine. His friend was a powerful man because Tony was able to secure his job for him.

The case before Quacky Tony's court was about a secretive oil and gas plan for the nation so it was just fine for Q.T.and his friend to take their vacation at the ranch of another wealthy oil man. Right.

Tony's co worker just loves to take large gifts from brand new friends, especially ones in the real estate business. I'm sure that Coke hair Clarence would never recuse himself from any real estate cases.
