Ian Marquand is looking back on other State of the State addresses. Schwinden, Stephens, Racicot, Martz.

Tonight will be the first time I remember watching the entire State of the State address.

I just know he will do a great job, he is very smart and his mom brought him up right. He really does treat people like they are important.

Of course former Governor Stan Stephens and his wife Ann are very gracious people too.

Obama on Oprah

Now if she would try to explain how politics and policies affect everyone's daily lives.

I do like the way he treats people though. Very classy.

There isn't one. That is there is no crisis other than the banking industries rush to get a sizeable chunk of our money.

It does not belong to them, it belongs to us. We are the ones who have worked for it and paid into it.

The sky is not falling but the stock market is and they damned well know it.

Whatever you do, don't let them lie to you anymore.

What Crisis?

What WMD'S? Omeyegod the sky is falling!

Killer asteroids! OrangeAlerts! Only 38 or 48 years until

we've spent all our savings!

Millions of hardworking Americans are only one or two paychecks away from homelessness at any given time.

This beautiful girl is only a 36 hours old and she is already Twenty-five to thirty thousand dollars in debt.

Why would anybody want to add tens of trillions of dollars to this little girls burden and leave her parents to grandparents very economically insecure?

What we need is a support group to prepare ourselves, to figure out how and when to tell our children that they get to foot the bill for all this ridiculousness.
