Conservatives and medical marijuana

There is an element of surprize for the amount of support that conservatives have thrown behind states rights to allow some people to medicate themselves with marijuana.

Wonder no more. U.M. Professor Rob Natelson told us why the other day that if MM passes the test, it will effectively put the idea of (big government) universal healthcare to rest. I wonder if he would support Dr. Mguire's position that health insurance should be mandatory?
