Wildfire!
Interstate 90 is closed by Alberton and there are evacuation orders. At least 20 fires started pretty much simultaneously about 4:30 this afternoon, there is suspicion that they were set by someone.
It's hot and bone dry, the forecast is for hotter and drier days to come. There are about a hundred firefighters working the area and thereis concern about high winds, phone service is out in the area. Stage 2 fire restrictions go into effect at midnight.

Governor Schweitzer has given the order for National Guard soldiers to begin fire training in conjunction with their monthly training.
