The Spirits of 1776

The number of American soldiers killed in Iraq has climbed to 1714, or eight dead in the last two days. Scott McLellan has clearly rejected the idea that the Bush Administration make any plan to get our kids out of this meat grinder.

It's ironic that he would even dare to speak like that during the first day of the first hearing on what CNN is calling "The so-called Downing Street Memo", which is only one of the many pieces of edidence that the Bush administration planned long and hard to get the troops into Iraq without respect for them or any of the laws they broke to do so.

The fact that CNN is finally saying "fixed the intelligence and facts around the policy" is an affirmative result of the dilligence that hundreds of blogs put forth and the dedication of Pam, Melissa, Ivory Joe and Freiheit und Wissen.

Patia wants to have some kind of protest when the number of dead American Soldiers reaches 1776. Sounds like a good idea, does anyone have any ideas for a 1776 protest?
